South-west side of the Burnett Highway at Ban Ban Springs. Opposite the junction of the Isis Highway.

The Ban Ban Springs Rest Area is a large level overnighter with some shade, which is diagonally opposite a roadhouse and motel, where you can fill up your tank and your tummy.
Ban Ban Springs is a sacred site to our Aboriginal people, so please treat this popular stop with respect. The shire maintains this rest area to a high standard. There are two areas for travellers to use for overnighting. There is a separate area for heavy transport.

After several years of drought, the springs have activated again. You can see this on the video below.
