Driving Directions

Follow Arnhem Highway to waypoint. Turn north onto dirt road. At GPS coordinates -12.724394,132.148439 Take left fork to Two Mile Hole, or continue on the right fork to 4-Mile Hole.

4 Mile Hole is a remote fishing location, just inside Kakadu National Park. You need a park pass to visit this location. Beware of Crocodiles!

40km of rough dirt road.
Freshwater Barramundi fishing is what you do at 4-Mile Hole. That and keeping clear of the big fellas. They are swimming in the river just about where you want to cast your line, because that is where lunch is waiting.

This spot is only accessible in the dry season. The road is rough with water across in a couple of places. 4X4 country only of course.
