Attack Creek Rest Area is a free overnighter located at the site of the Stuart Monument. Just off the highway and partly protected from noise by vegetation.
John McDouall Stuart made six expeditions between 1858 and 1862 into the Australian interior, establishing a route from Adelaide to the northern coast of the continent.
