Beachport Jetty was built in the second half of the 19th century to provide safe shipping facilities for farm produce from the area. Today it provides an excellent fishing opportunity and picnic venue.
There are picnic tables and bins here and a strong mobile phone signal. Across the road is a cafe and there ate shops and a pub around the corner.
