Bells Bay Campground Toonumbar Dam is operated by The Kyogle Fishing Club.

Facilities include shelter sheds, compost toilets, rainwater tanks, BBQs, a jetty and boat ramp. No firewood there, but it is suggested that you bring your own water.
Excellent fishing can be had on the dam from either the jetty and boat ramp which were provided by the local Kyogle fish stocking group which stocks the dam with Bass. You can bring your own boat but you must observe the regulations for the dam area.

A NSW Fishing licence is required for fishing at the Dam. These are available from the Kyogle Visitors Info Centre (Cnr Anzac Drive, opposite the BP Garage) which is open 7 days per week, 9am-4pm.

Toonumbar Dam is open to all forms of boating, however a speed limit of 8 knots applies throughout the Lake. It is a great place for canoeing. There are some magnificent bush walks, 4WD drive along the Cambridge Plateau towards Mallanganee.

The Dam area itself offers superb picnic facilities, bushwalking .
The grounds opens Thursday afternoons and closes on Sunday afternoon and is open all NSW school holidays and public holidays
