Blackall is not only the home of the Black Stump, but also the historic Blackall Woolscour which the only fully intact working steam operated wool scour left in Australia. Well worth the one-hour tour. Before you leave treat yourself to a hot mineral spa or swim in the 50m artesian pool at the Aquatic Centre in Salvia Street. Don't forget legendary gun shearer Jack Howe, visit the Universal Garden Centre and Gallery and learn all about this legend of Australia.

People in Blackall predominantly have COLD water systems as we need to cool the water before we can use it. It comes out between 58 to 62 degrees Celsius.
