Boorabbin Koorarawalyee Rest Area is a large level rest area with free overnight stay on the north-western side of the highway. It has a good gravel surface and shade. A good free camp with huge amounts of space and plenty of trees.
There are good facilities here including a dump point. Very spacious camp site, with room for large rigs. There are several picnic tables and fire pits. Facilities are clean – BYO toilet paper.
