Brackens Cottage is a historic rustic cottage set on a grassy flat, surrounded by tall open forest with the picturesque Norfolk Island Creek nearby. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and a fireplace and was built in 1937.
All of the building materials were carried up on pack horses. As a result, they could only bring sheets of iron that were 6' (180cm) long.

There isn't enough room for a caravan here, but you would be able to bring a small camper trailer. There is an open space outside the fence, which separates the cottage from the track.

There are beds in the bedrooms which you can use, but there are no mattresses. Cozy spot in winter.

Ourside is a rainwater tank and a longdrop toilet, as well as a picnic table and a fire ring.
