Bromus Dam is a free camping area, snuggled in off the highway with good shade and a level gravel surface.
Venture further into the bush and you will discover more camping space and the dam itself, where you can have a swim and relax in the shade.
The dam provides a water supply for wildlife and birds, making this a very pleasant environment. Wildflowers in season further enhance the area
Brumbies frequent this area.
