The Callide Dam harvests water from Callide Creek and Kroombit Gully, forming a reservoir for the town of Biloela in Central Queensland.
This magnificent waterway provides rich pickings for local and visiting fishers, with Murray Cod, Barramundi and Golden Perch.

Just 13km from the centre of Biloela and adjacent to the dam, the picnic area is a popular recreation spot with amenities, BBQs and tables.

There is a boat ramp on the lake.
