Driving Directions

Turn north off the Sturt Highway at waypoint, 59km east of Hay. Continue for 2km and cross the bridge. Entrance is on the right. (North bank of the river.)

Carrathool Camping Area is on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River where you can fish and swim and even float a small dingy.
There is plenty of room for all size rigs.

There is a bridge here which is a lift span design to enable paddle steamers to pass.
