Collarenebri Primitive Campground provides neat, tidy sites divided by bollards, just a short walk through the bush to the Barwon River. Enjoy the peace and quiet with plentiful birds.
Camping by the river can be enjoyed by taking the road that passes the rugby field and amenities block.

The campground is close to town – just over Rocky Ford Bridge. The main street (Gwydir Highway/Wilson Street) offers a Post office (combine Information Centre), News Agency, Hotel, Cafe + takeaway, Grocery shop, Butcher, Tyre repair shop.

There is mobile phone coverage here. This applies to all sites close to Collarenebri.

There is a truck parking area as well.

Checked this camp out. It was raining when we visited and the sites are graveled but were very muddy and not really suitable. There is no TV reception and mobile service not great. The showers are hot and amenities great and clean Would be a great place when dry with river nearby and plenty of shade

You can either park near the toilets and showers at the entrance or down by the Barwon River.
