Driving Directions

300m down a narrow gravel track to a roomy clearing in the blackbut forest.

Shortly after leaving the Bruxner Highway, the gravel road divides. Take the road to the right (not straight on). It's a bit rough but OK if taken slowly.

Crooked Creek Rest Area is a quiet, cleared area near a creek. Short, steep dirt driveway in from road – not a problem in dry weather but could be slippery in the wet. OK for large rigs.
After descending down the gravel track you find yourself in a roomy clearing in the blackbut forest, wi some tall pine trees. Very quiet spot with drop toilet and covered picnic table.

Nice creek and not a bad place to stop overnight. Could be improved with a bit of work.
