Douglas Ponds Creek Rest Area is a short distance off the Landsborough Highway on the bank of Douglas Ponds Creek. There is little here... It is just a basic bush camp with a picnic table, longdrop toilets and bins.
Sandwiched between the highway and the old road, the main area is an old maintenance gravel pad. Not much shade.
