East Gresford Showground provides camping in a pleasant location beside the Allyn River. Caretaker collects camping fees in the afternoon.
There are plenty of grassy locations with power outlets and mostly level. Choose from sunny or well shaded spots.
Great low cost site. Powered sites $25, Unpowered sites $20 per night. Price includes up to 2 adults and 2 children over 5 (under 5's are free). Additional person $5 per site per night. it's a great location. No bookings, 1st in 1st served. Caretaker comes around to collect cash.
There is a large swimming hole in the river with a path down the embankment to the water. Bring your swimmers and a canoe.
