Ellendale Pool is a stunning water hole naturally formed along the picturesque Greenough River.
Located near the historic town of Greenough, it is surrounded by magnificent Gum trees and a rocky gorge. Take a dip in the refreshing water then sit back and soak up the striking beauty Mother Nature has to offer.

If you are feeling energetic climb the rocky peak from the creek that flows from Ellendale Pool. Stop for a picnic lunch or stay the night at the camp site.

A visit to nearby Greenough is also worthwhile to see numerous well preserved historic buildings within the town. Ellendale and Greenough are a perfect stopover on your way to the state’s north.

Ellendale Pool is a four and a half hour drive north of Perth and is one of the recommended stops on the Greenough Tourist Drive.

Much of the previous area used for camping has been blocked off, leaving this a smaller camping area than it was.
