Ferntree Camping Area in Mount Buangor State Park is somewhat steep and therefore not suitable for caravans or large rigs. There are numerous walking tracks, fireplaces, toilets and a shelter with a fireplace and seating.
The road up to this camping area splits into a one-way loop that takes you up to a splendid location high on the hill with ferns all around and the start of walking tracks. It is ideal for tents and camper trailers would also work here OK with a bit of care.
