Fort O'Hare Campground is the starting point for a 4-day canoe adventure to the river mouth at Nelson, via the Lower Glenelg National Park.
Drinking water is available from a Natural Spring at the picnic area next to the Glenelg River bridge on the Princes Highway.

There are interesting carvings along Greenham Street as shown in the photographs by Allan Ginger.

Drinking water available top side of Public Hall in town. Fire pits/barbeques and picnic tables are located in the large grassy camping area.

This is a pleasant camp area, with options to either be amongst the trees or out in the open. There are no grey water restrictions or time constraints. Donations are requested.

The community should be praised for providing a stairway to the Glenelg River incorporating a small wharf for launching canoes/kayaks. It would also be a good spot to use for swimming. There is also a safe children's swimming area with a small beach and barricade.

And of course, the wooden sculptures in the town are a joy to behold.

We used this site to find Dartmoor Victoria, it is an excellent spot, we stayed 2 days and enjoyed looking at all the carvings, great site, clean amenities, well kept, nice walks, friendly locals and really enjoyed ourselves, a definite to visit again for us.
