Frank Potts Reserve is a nice shady spot with a short walk to the Langhorne Creek General Store and the Hotel, which serves good meals. This is an excellent rest area in the heart of a popular wine district. Plenty of shade and clean toilets.
It is one of the better free camps in SA. Select a site back from the road as it is used by heavy transport. This site is well worth a visit.

200 metres from Langhorne Creek wine centre and 700 metres from Bleasdale wines.

After heavy rain upstream, the Bremer River can swell and the levy bank, which is above the level of this reserve can sometimes overflow, flooding the camping area.

Town Drinking water is available at two taps under the toilet block or behind the toilet block in town adjacent to the dump point. Best local shopping areas are Mt Barker or Strathalbyn

Great free park, plenty of shade and grassed areas, a drop toilet, picnic tables and plenty of rubbish bins. Lots of wineries to visit, our favourite is Bleasdales only a couple of minutes drive away. Short trip to Lake Alexandrina and the townships of Milang, Clayton Bay and Welllington.

Nice spot at Langhorne Creek. Easy drive to Adelaide and the rest of the Fleurieu Peninsula if you want to make this your base, without dragging the van around. It is subject to flooding though, so keep an eye on the river.
