Goyders Line Quarantine Bin Rest Area is a level roadside rest area among shady eucalypts, with a picnic table and bin. A quarantine bin is also located here to dispose of prohibited fruit & veges before entering the Riverland area.
In 1865, surveyor general George Woodroffe Goyder, marked on the map of South Australia a line delineating drought affected country. The line passed through this area.
