Grenfell Old Railway Station is a Lions restoration project and a pleasant rest area and picnic spot. There is a dump point here.
Circular bitumen surface on level ground with adjacent grassy areas. There is some shade. Enjoy the BBQs and picnic tables. There is also a children's play facility.

Drinking water is available at a tap inside the BBQ area and at the rear of the toilet block. Grenfell is the birthplace of Henry Lawson.

The old railway station has been preserved and restored and an old wooden rail carriage stands guard at the station.
