Harland Park Rest area is a free overnighter adjacent to Cooyar Creek. There is a short dirt road that takes you to the camping area, just off the D'Aguilar Highway between Blackbutt and Yarraman.
A large open area with a few tall gums. Access to the lower creekside area is not suitable for larger and low-clearance rigs.

The lower creekside area is a popular local fishing spot (for Golden Perch) as are sections of Cooyar Creek adjacent to the old bridge pilons.

The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT) passes Harland Park/Cooyar Creek (old Pidna rail station site). See BVRT website

Close to highway, bit noisy through the day, but traffic settles at night.
