Driving Directions

300m north of Mannum-Bowhill Ferry on the north-western side of Bowhill Road.

Haythorpe Reserve Rest Area is a camping area wedged on a narrow strip of land between the road and the river bank. Part of the area has a drive-through configuration. Good shade.
There are cement fire pits along the foreshore and a separate level area if needed for large motorhomes or caravans.

The fee is economical and the Council attendant comes and checks if you have paid. Toilets are very clean. There is no drinking water at this location. Very nice spot.
