Helms Arboretum is a large area with displays of many species of native flowering shrubs and trees, surrounded by natural bushland. The rest area is a very pleasant place to relax for a while.
There are ample opportunites to indulge in photography and bird watching, as well as a great place for a picnic lunch or afternoon tea.

The picnic area is located in a forest, where the wind whisper its secrets in the tall pine trees and the soft filtered ligh is a photographer's delight.
