Horseshoe Lagoon Camping Area is located on the bank of the Murray River, at a quiet spot near Cobram. There is a boat ramp here and the river is quite calm. It is a great spot for families, with a sound bottom to the river.
There are stands of very big gum trees just back from the beach, but care is required to avoid being hit by falling limbs. There are level grassy campsites right down to the water's edge.

The surrounding bush is inhabited by mobs of kangaroos, some of them quite large, while the trees above play host to koalas and birds.
