Hunters Gorge offers open bush camping sites by Mundawerra Waterhole on the Diamantina River. This area is well suited to camper trailers but has few shade trees and is exposed to frequent high winds
Enjoy spectacular sunsets and abundant bird life from the banks of the Diamantina River at Hunters Gorge camping area,

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.

Be alert and prepared for changes in weather. Even small amounts of rain on the park or in surrounding areas can cause floods at any time of year. If heavy rain or minor flooding occurs, move to higher ground
