Driving Directions

18km south-west of Donnybrook, 17km south-east of Capel off the southern side of Capel Donnybrook Road.

Although entry is tight via the side track it is possible to get a 21foot van in. Once in, there isn't all that much room to move around.

Ironstone Gully Falls is a free camping ground where, from August to October, a magnificent display of WA wildflowers springs to life.
During the wet season the stream coursed its way through the jarrah forests, crossing under the road and then tumbles over the rapids from a height of around nine metres, to continue on its way down the valley. Only a little water in the stream at the end of the dry season. This is a good place for kids to explore without too much danger. Nice pools of water for splahing etc.

Toilet while a bit run down and old, are clean thanks to a couple of locals who look after them.

A pole barrier to stop vans entering the picnic ground only stops the larger vans.
