Driving Directions

Located 9 km from the western entrance and 19 km from the eastern entrance of Danbulla Road.

The Tablelands Regional Council has erected signs indicating this road is unsuitable for caravans. The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle or boat.

The Kauri Creek Campground at Lake Tinaroo is on the edge of an inlet that is well suited to swimming or exploration by canoe. It is suitable for tent camping or camper trailers and can be reached by conventional vehicles.
There is a 600m easy walk along the Link track through the forest to the Kauri Creek day-use area.
