Lake McIntyre is a man-made lake that has been created in the process of rehabilitation of a council quarry. The lake is now a bird habitat and breeding area. There is a picnic area with BBQs, picnic tables and accessible toilets.
This magnificent recreation area has a 500m walking track around the lake with bird hides and viewing platforms. There are well cared for native gardens beautifully landscaped to complement the natural environment that has been created here.

There is plenty of parking and room for buses and caravans to park and turn.
