Driving Directions

31km north-west of Taroom. Proceed to waypoint on Fitzroy Development Road and Leichhardt Highway junction. Turn north-west into Fitzroy Development Road and travel about 1.5km to junction of Glenhaughton Road. Turn west into Glenhaughton Road and continue for approx 11km of dirt road. Turn north onto track to campground.

There is one camping area at Lake Murphy Conservation Park. Shaded, grassy campsites near the lake are provided. The camping area is accessed via the main road into the park, near the picnic area.
Nestled beneath the low Murphy's Range in the central highlands, Lake Murphy remains largely unchanged from the days when Europeans first passed this way.
