Lake Wyangan Picnic Area provides free camping for 3 days on the shores of the lake. This is a man made lake built in the 1950s where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, sailing and water skiing.
Lake Wyangan is a very pleasant campsite with plenty of space of vehicles of all sizes. Level sites can be found but most have some slope. Mainly grassy especially at the top of the campground. Amenities are good with a cold water shower.

There is a very large picnic ground adjacent to the campground with lots of animals – donkeys, fallow deer, farmyard fowl, peacocks, emu etc.
