Laura Community Caravan park is a budget priced park that provides level shaded sites for any size rig. Some sites drive-through. Well behaved caravanners are welcome to bring along their pets.
Coming soon to the Park will be our extension to include those who are fully self contained and looking for a quiet spot to camp off the road and to stay and enjoy what Laura and the surrounding area has to offer.

The Managers of this wonderful park are Peter & Trish Hinton.

We are pleased to advise we are now able to offer guests FREE Wifi.

You can discover Laura on foot by following a walking trail that takes you past the courthouse gallery, war memorial, churches, historic post office, police station and more.

Laura is approximately 220 kilometres from Adelaide in the Southern Flinders Ranges. Naturally unexpected.

Laura Folk Fair, a major rural festival of the Southern Flinders Ranges, is held the first weekend in April, unless Easter falls then when the Fair is held the second weekend. Enjoy art, street parade, bands, dancers, musicians, puppetry, rides, bush dance, side show alley, competitions and over 100 stalls selling handcrafted items, local produce and plants.

Laura Country music festival is held the last weekend in July. This is a very popular event, held over three days, which draws country music lovers from far and wide.

Australian poet and writer CJ Dennis, of 'The Sentimental Bloke' fame, is a much respected early identity of Laura. His father was the licensee of the Beetaloo Reservoir Hotel from 1892 to 1910. Clarrie Dennis spent much of his youth in Laura.
