Lawrence Memorial Park is located right on the Clarence River with a boat ramp and a jetty. Good facilities and shade in this peaceful friendly town, with additional spots along the river towards the centre of town.
Sadly we have been notified by a local that the council has stopped overnight stays here. Local businesses are trying to get this decision reversed.

The general store is well stocked and the Hotel has amazing food. Toilets, bbqs well maintained and ample fishing.

Locals are friendly ... pity about the Council.

Facebook post today advising the Lawrence Tavern is now RV friendly and you can camp at the back of the Pub. The post was in a group known as "Country pubs welcoming onsite OZ Nomad Camping"
