Lighthouse Shell Gallery is a feature of the Ningaloo Lighthouse Caravan Park and located at the entrance. It is open to the public for a small donation to the RFDS.
Here you will find of the largest private shell collections on display in the state. This extensive collection of shells has been in Exmouth for the past 50 years and is a credit to Jim Figgis who ran it for many years.
There is also a prehistoric shark tooth dating back millions of years and a giant helmet shell (reputedly the largest in the world) to have a look at. Lots of little ‘species’ adorn the cabinets and make for interesting talking points.
Come in for a squiz and maybe pick up a souvenir or two.
