Lucky Bay was named by Matthew Flinders in 1802, when taking shelter from a summer storm. Today the campground provides shelter for travellers who are lucky enough to be visiting the Cape Le Grand National Park with all of its beauty.
Facilities include septic toilets and showers. A camping fee and a park use fee are charged.
Kangaroos are popular here.
Many species of small native mammals rely on the plant communities of the park for food and shelter. When in flower, the banksias are a source of nectar and insects.
This spot can get very busy. There are 40 bays. Campground hosts collect fees daily.
A great place to stay. The white sand and blue water is breathtaking.

Another great spot but as usual in WA unfortunately far too small for the amount of people who want too use it.
