Malcolm Dam provides free camping with various spots scattered around the dam. There is ample room for large tigs and two sheltered picnic tables at the head of the dam. There is also a skip for rubbish.
The dam was built by the WA government at the beginning of the 20th century, to provide fresh water for the ever growing network of railways and their thirsty steam locomotives.

There are plenty of birds and wildflowers to enjoy in this little oasis.

Dirt road may get boggy after rain.
