Driving Directions

48km north of Adelaide River, 65km south of Darwin, just north of Manton River Bridge on the western side of the highway. Park big rigs outside.

Manton Dam, built in 1942, was Darwin's first reliable water supply. Today, although its water is still used in emergencies, the Dam is a popular recreation area.
