McNamara Park is an extensive area of bush on Payne's Crossing Road and adjacent to Wollombi Brook. There are plenty of level sites where you can camp with a choice of sunny or shaded areas.
Within easy driving distance of both Singleton and Cessnock, this is a great place to base your camp to explore the wineries of the Hunter Valley.

Drinking water is available at a tap next to the fire station, across the road from the general store.

This is one of our favourites and we always stay here when in the Hunter. Quiet little village with a general store/pub/PO within walking distance. You will often meet someone you know, or know of, when you stay here. Good toilets, plenty of bins and choice of shady or sunny camp spots.
