Mount Schank is a dormant, but not yet extinct volcano located 17km south of Mount Gambier. It rises 158m above sea level and there are two dry craters.
A number of walks can be enjoyed, including a walk to the viewing platform and the crater floor walk.

The day rest area is at the base of the mountain. There are accessible flushing toilets with hand basins, an electric BBQ and bins. There is no picnic table here.
