Driving Directions

At wauypoint on Melba Highway turn east into Murrindindi road. At Y junction in Murrindini Road, do not take LH fork, but go straight ahead. Shortly after the road becomes dirt it will then turn right (away from the power lines). At this turn you should see a sign for the reserve.

Just before entering the reserve there is a saw mill on the right hand side.

There are a number of camp sites along the Murrindindi creek for the next 5 kilometres.

Murrindindi Scenic Reserve provides excellent opportunities for recreational activities such as camping, bushwalking, picnicking and fishing.
The Reserve comprises 815 hectares of mixed species forest, which includes waterfalls, tree fern gullies and an abundance of birds
and mammals. There is a history of Aboriginal use in the area by nomadic tribes. In the Wurundjeri language Murrindindi means 'Mountain Home'.
