Nobby Rest Area has clean toilets, electric BBQ's and hose connector water taps for visitors. Mobile phone coverage, both Telstra and Optus.
Just a few metres away are the shops in the main street of Nobby, including an art gallery and a general store/cafe which is also the Post Office.

The pub has a friendly atmosphere. The meals are generous in size and delicious to eat. The walls are adorned with history, including photos of "the early days" and various horse drawn paraphernalia.

Unpowered overnight stay is free and power is available for a small fee which is paid at the pub. There are two power heads, each with two points, so first in best dressed.

There are also a couple of water taps with hose fittings for filling your tanks. Not sufficient in number or placement for hooking up.

A memorial to Sister Kenny of international fame for her work with polio sufferers, is close by and worthy of a visit.

Top marks to Toowoomba Regional Council for making the Nobby Rest Area available free to travellers.
