Blandford Rest Area is a pleasant park with tall pine trees standing like sentries over a green patch, adjacent to the highway. The amenities block is in Clarke Street where there is space to park.
The turing space in dead end Clarke Street is a bit tight for towed caravans so if you are towing, it may be better to find a spot to park in Timor Road after leaving the highway. This is the road that Clarke Street runs off. There is a gravel verge that should provide enough parking space for a caravan.

A new Enviro-cycle septic system has been installed along with a 22,500 litre water tank to replace the 7,000 litre tank that was previously located there. New hand basins will be installed and the building will be painted inside and out.
