Poona Northern End Foreshore Reserve is at the far northern end of Poona Foreshore with views across the Great Sandy Strait to Fraser Island. Used as an access point to the system of walking trails across Poona Foreshore and Wetlands.
The foreshore reserve parking and turnaround area is small and unsuited to all but the smallest rigs. A second larger parking area with a turn-around facility exists away from the foreshore at the opposite end of Outridge Avenue.

The Poona Walking Trails network cover the Poona Foreshore as well as the Wetlands to the North of Poona township (see pic).

A top of the tide land-based fishing location.
