RAAF Boab Quarry is a large, free campsite with a level gravel surface in remote rugged country. There is some shade here and plenty of room for large rigs. No facilities here.
Great place for a short stay for a couple of nights. You can have a swim in the quarry. Its really more like a little gorge only man-made.

Stayed here 3/8/17. Not near as much dust here as other camps further up the track. Obviously the road will vary with the timing of the maintenance schedule. We were lucky as all but about 40km had been graded just before we arrived. I agree with the comments on the main pages.

Stayed here 7/6/15 what a dusty dry depressing place very little shade there was about 50cms of water in a small pond. Road in is very rough and not for conventional vans. May be nice at times but not very often by the looks of it. Would not waste my time going there again.
