Red Cliffs Rest Area is a convenient picnic stop on the Calder Highway right in Red Cliffs. Just across the road from here is Barclay Square, where there are toilets adjacent to the Post Office.
Also in Barclay Square is Big Lizzie, the 45 tonne tractor that was brought to the area in 1920 to clear the mallee scrub and make the land available for agriculture.
Red Cliffs is a neat little village with excellent services and shops. There is a supermarket, cafes and takeaway food shops and a fuel station.
There is a caravan park not far along the road towards Mildura.
