Red Rock Scenic Lookout is part of a volcanic complex where 47 eruption points occurred over a period of thousands of years. Red Rock is well worth the drive. Beautiful view of lakes and farming district from both ridges.
The view takes in all of the surrounding landscape and includes craters, lakes and ridges formed by the volcanic activity.

There is a picnic area at the bottom of the hill, before ascending to the lookout. The picnic area is at the waypoint GPS coordinates. All of the facilities are at the picnic area.
