Driving Directions

Access to the site is by a gravel road leading about 300 metres from a sealed main road. The road is sometimes rough so check it out first if you are in a big van.

The sign (on the Killarney Gap Road) says "Ancient Geological Site Glacial Area".

Rocky Creek Narrabri Glacial Camping Area is a small, rough camping area beside a beautiful flowing creek. The area is well shaded by trees and there are plenty of swimming holes in the creek which flows down over rapids and is always clean.
Platypus can sometimes be seen in the early morning or late afternoon.

There isn't really a designated camping area here. It is just in a rough carpark, and not a lot of room for many people.
