Rowles Lagoon is a semi-permanent freshwater body that is a haven for birds and bird watchers. This is a free camping ground with many campsites and room for large rigs
The area is a popular stop for migratory birds with 118 species migrating through, including 41 water bird and eight protected species. The wetland area is part of Australia’s register of significant wetlands.

Barbecue fire rings, picnic tables, camping areas, toilets and information shelter are provided. Please collect all fire wood before entering into camping area.
