Driving Directions

East Boyd State Forest, Scrubby Creek Picnic Area is on the northbound side of the road about 15 minutes from Eden. It is a well shaded area Turn into Wombat Road and turn right 700m along a dirt road that runs north parallel to the Princess Highway. Very long rigs may have some difficulty along this track and it would be best to walk it just to be sure.

Scrubby Creek Forest Rest Area provides plenty of space in a tranquil forest setting.
There are picnic tables, wood BBQ/fire places (BYO wood) and a Windy Loo. No garbage bins with a sign that you take your rubbish out with you.

Proximity to the highway can make it noisy during the daylight hours especially with the number of logging truck going to the wood chip mill Edrom Road, South Eden.
