Shadbolt Picnic Area is designated as a day use area in the Greater Bendigo National Park. There are picnic tables, fireplaces and a toilet.
A number of walking tracks emanate from this spot that enable visitors to expolre this beautiful park, including one track to Old Tom Mine.

There is plentiful wildlife and birds to observe. Greater Bendigo National Park is renowned for its songbirds, where an overlap of cool and warm climate species creates one of the largest populations to be found in Australia.

No pets are allowed in the National Park.

There is limited parking here and caravans are best left at Notleys Camping Area, which less than 5km away.
